CHRIS RWK

Chris RWK is an American contemporary artist born in 1977 and raised in New York.

His artworks reflect the imagery of 70s and 80s, to which he was exposed through television, comic books, films, and music. His principal subjects are robots, transported in a universe full of popular culture references, with colorful cityscapes and figurative wonders that make us enter into his captivating creations. With a touch of humor, his artwork reflects the vibrancy and complexity of the human experience, united with a special interest for comics, cartoons, and graffiti.

He created an iconic visual language that has become recognizable to the viewer. 

In 2001, Chris RWK set up the online platform Robots Will Kill, dedicated to community and exposure for artists often disregarded by the mainstream art world.
