SALMOS

Fabio Saturnino da Silva, best known as Salmos, was born in 1987 in São Paulo Brazil and is a famous street artist.

In his pieces he puts together the lettering used for the graffiti and iconic cartoon characters, such as Simpsons, Scooby Doo, Pink Panther and Disney figures.

He finds in the cartoons that have influenced his childhood the nostalgia of being a child and the typical innocence of the infancy.

One of the distinctive features of his artworks is the characteristic to draw these characters without the eyes. With the absent of the eyes, they can’t see the evil of the world and can preserving the magic and the ingenuity of the childhood.

With the use of vibrant colors and strong lines, he became very famous and made his first solo show in New York City in 2016, and then continuing to spread his work worldwide.
