Collection: MASON STORM
Mason Storm was born in London in 1974. Before he begun to pursue his artistic career he spent some time in working in the variety of industries and worked as Judo and self-defense instructor, freelance security contractor and consultant, journalist specializing in intelligence, espionage, and terrorism. The artist graduated law and also spend some time working as a barrister. Mason Storm wondered in the world of art by chance. One day his Judo class was canceled so the artist entered an art class held in the same youth center. He continued to come over for 15 years and to work hand in hand with people who went on to become Royal Academy, The Royal College, and Saint Martins college art graduates.
British artist Mason Storm is known for provocative works that poke fun at the hypocrisies within modern society. In his compositions—which reference canonical paintings by Caravaggio, Johannes Vermeer, and Norman Rockwell—Storm inserts elements from movies, TV, and pop culture to create clever juxtapositions that speak to contemporary issues. His creations are appreciated by collectors all over the world also for have an exceptional technical level. Like Banksy, Storm works anonymously, hiding his identity behind a designer balaclava. For years, Storm has fueled rumors that he is one of Banksy’s assistants, even threatening to reveal the mysterious artist’s identity in an apparent promotional stunt in 2010. More recently, after being considered the main suspect of being the true creator of the Banksy painting Devolved Parliament (2009), which sold for about $12.1 million at auction in 2019, the famous Storm released a series of “Monkey Parliament” paintings and sketches that imply that he is the original artist behind It.

Group show "Urban Animals".
As we care about environment and about the consequences that our actions can have on animals, we decided to create a show in which we remind people the beauty of our roommates and our planet. As we all know, deforestation is a topic that is getting more and more ignored in the last years, we decided to focus our show on the problems that it creates and we are willing to help the planet as much as we can. That's the reason behind the theme of "Urban Animals", and the mission will be of donating a part of the proceeds to WWF. Our help will consist in donating 1 ectar to the Amazon rainforest for reforestation for every piece sold during the exhibition.
