ANDREW SCOTT

Born in 1991, Andrew Scott is a conceptual American artist, best known for his broken glass technique.

His childhood fascination at the ways glass would fragment has evolved into a distinct contemporary art style. His technique made the viewer became part of the artwork with the break of the fourth wall.

Andrew Scott uses very different way to break the glass: by hand, a hammer and chisel, etc. 

His originality is also in the power of the broken glass that reflect the feelings of the viewer. His artworks explore the dark and light sides of the human emotions, putting in highlight the mental health and the human psychology. The artworks represent a journey in the introspection.  

His unique artworks have been exhibited in important galleries and museum around the world, such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, the Tate Modern in London and used for public spaces as the atrium of the World Trade Center in New York City.
