Roy’s People is the pseudonym of the British artist Roy Tyson who’s specialized in the creation of brilliant and intriguing imagery with customized miniature figures.

He gets inspired by everyday life and turns single moments into a miniature reality.

He transformed his hobby in his work and, since 2012, he photographs his characters on the streets of London or in unconventional situations before progressing into installations and corporate commissions for brands such as Apple, Ted Baker, Byron Burger, Zizzi, The Royal Mint and many more.

Roy understands that it’s the little things in life that count. Working the little figurines into the classic square frame, the print or canvas suddenly take on a life of its own, creating three-dimensional snapshots.

Roy handcrafts each figure by hand, each completely individual with their own story to tell. He combines miniature figures with elements of photography and the streets, creating situations in a little world that can reflect on our feelings and emotions.
